May the Grace of our Lord Jesus Christ

The love of God

The sweet fellowship of the Holy Spirit, be with us now and forever more (AMEN)

2 Corinthians 13:14

There's a reason it is not The Grace of God, the love of the Holy Spirit or the fellowship of Jesus Christ.

The arrangement of The Grace Prayer is intentional.

Don’t get it twisted, this doesn’t override the efficacy of the Trinity. You will understand our point better as you continue reading

The Grace of our Lord Jesus Christ

1. Grace is a person. (John 1:14-17)

14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.

15 John bore witness of Him and cried out, saying, “This was He of whom I said, ‘He who comes after me is preferred before me, for He was before me.’ ”

16 And of His fullness we have all received, and grace for grace.

17 For the law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.

2. Jesus is the Grace of God. You cannot go to God except through Jesus (The Grace)

Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me (John 14:6)

But without God’s love, Grace will not exist.

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. John 3:16.

For God so loved the world.. It was God’s love that made Him gave us His only begotten son Jesus Christ.

After you have accepted the Love of God & The Grace of Jesus Christ, you need the Holy Spirit to live a Christian Life, you need daily fellowship with the Holy Spirit to be able to live a sinless life.

And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever (John 14:16)

The work of the Holy Spirit in the life of a Christian cannot be overemphasized.

Holy Spirit:

Teaches us all things (John 14:26)

He is our Comforter (John 16:7)

He opens our eyes to the knowledge of truth (John 16:13)

He prays for us (Romans 8:26-27)  e.t.c

When we understand the benefits and work of the Holy Spirit, we will appreciate fellowshipping with Him daily.

In summary,

THE GRACE PRAYER is the core of our belief in God. The words are the essence of our Christianity; the essence of our lives.

And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

2 Corinthians 12:9
