OLD TESTAMENT I
Deuteronomy 7:11 - 8:20

While they are still speaking, messengers arrive to tell Jairus that his daughter has died, but Jesus tells him not to be afraid and to have faith. When they arrive at Jairus' house, Jesus goes into the girl's room and takes her by the hand, telling her to get up. She immediately comes back to life, and everyone is amazed.

These stories demonstrate Jesus' power over sickness and death, as well as His compassion for those who suffer. They also highlight the importance of faith, as both the woman and Jairus had faith in Jesus' ability to heal. Overall, this passage shows that Jesus came to bring healing and life, and that those who put their trust in Him will not be disappointed.
