Old Testament I

Exodus 37

37:1 Then Bezalel made the ark of acacia wood; two and a half cubits was its length, a cubit and a half its width, and a cubit and a half its height.

We could tell from his craftsmanship that God actually gave the workers wisdom on how to work on the ark

When we ask God for wisdom in our area of craftsmanship or skills or business or studies. He is more than willing to bless us with wisdom. God’s wisdom in our sphere will make us exceptional and successful in our field.

If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.

James 1:5

Old Testament 2

Psalms 89:19-52

(3) a review of the covenant with David (vv. 19–37);

(4) consternation at a time of national distress (vv. 38–45);

(5) a complaint to the Lord to provoke Him to remember His covenant and restore the fortunes of His people (vv. 46–51);

(6) an appendix of blessing (v. 52).

New Testament

Acts 22:1-21

22:16 And now why are you waiting? Arise and be baptized, and wash away your sins, calling on the name of the Lord.

Calling on the name of the Lord saves us. Baptism is the declaration of that calling (see Rom. 10:9–13). This should not be confused. Whoever that calls upon the name of the lord shall be saved.
