Old Testament 1
Genesis 46 - 47:26
Israel made a sacrifice to God in Beersheba where God appeared to him and assured him to go to Egypt. They were given the best of the land and dwelled at Goshen. Joseph fed his brethren and cared for his father.
Is your relationship with God solid enough that God will show you what to do when faced with a life choice?
Old Testament 2
Psalm 25
Psalm 25 is a psalm for God’s protection and that the enemy should not overcome.
We are also reminded to put our trust in God. God delivers those who put their trust in Him
New Testament
Matthew 26:31-57
Jesus was really sorrowful because He knew His time to be tortured and crucified was drawing closer so He took Peter and the two sons of Zebedee with Him to pray with Him. But when he came to check them twice, they were sleeping.
You might be going through a challenge and you wonder why people you think cares about you are nonchalant about it, they are not there for you as you expect them too. The truth is you can’t really blame them, nobody can really know how you feel like you do, except God.
It’s a good thing Jesus already passed through the worst situation, whatever you are passing through Jesus understands, do not put your trust in man, they may care but it might not make enough difference. The spirit is willing but the flesh is weak. Trust God and talk to Him. He is the Almighty.
