[31:24 But God had come to Laban the Syrian in a dream by night, and said to him, Be careful that you speak to Jacob neither good nor bad ]

God protects His people.

God protects us even from intended or potential harm.


Old Testament 2
Job 42

[42:3 You asked, Who is this who hides counsel without knowledge? Therefore I have uttered what I did not understand, Things too wonderful for me, which I did not know.

42:7 And so it was, after the LORD had spoken these words to Job, that the LORD said to Eliphaz the Temanite, My wrath is aroused against you and your two friends, for you have not spoken of Me what is right, as My servant Job has.

42:8 Now therefore, take for yourselves seven bulls and seven rams, go to My servant Job, and offer up for yourselves a burnt offering; and My servant Job shall pray for you. For I will accept him, lest I deal with you according to your folly; because you have not spoken of Me what is right, as My servant Job has

42:10 And the LORD restored Job's losses when he prayed for his friends. Indeed the LORD gave Job twice as much as he had before.]

42:12 Now the LORD blessed the latter days of Job more than his beginning; for he had fourteen thousand sheep, six thousand camels, one thousand yoke of oxen, and one thousand female donkeys.

The righteous end is always great.

[42:15 In all the land were found no women so beautiful as the daughters of Job; and their father gave them an inheritance among their brothers.]

Job gave his daughter inheritance

There are some cultures that do not believe in giving a woman inheritance.

This is wrong!

A female child is as important as a male child. Both have equal rights to their parent's inheritance.

It doesn't matter if your daughter is getting married to someone and won't "carry on your family name".

What she does with the inheritance is up to her and whatever she does with it, or whatever your child (male or female) does with the inheritance you left them depends on how you have trained them.

As Christians, God is our father and He gave both His sons and daughters lots of inheritance in Christ. Halleluyah!


New Testament
Matthew 17:14 – 18:14

[17:16 So I brought him to Your disciples, but they could not cure him

17:17 Then Jesus answered and said, O faithless and perverse generation,

17:19 Then the disciples came to Jesus privately and said, Why could we not cast it out?

17:20 So Jesus said to them, Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, Move from here to there, and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.

17:21 However, this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting ]

It's a pity that people are more in love with the result than with the process.

If you want to be able to perform miracle, Jesus gave the criteria

1. You need to believe in Jesus' Name. Have faith in Him (even if it's as little as mustard seed)

2. Prayer and fasting. There's a price to pay for what you want. Jesus paid the price for your sin, you need to pay the price for rightly walking with Him and manifesting in Him.

Remember Jesus fasted for 40days and nights before He started performing miracles and the Bible also recorded times He prayed after that fast (in public and private).

Although Jesus didn't specify if we need to fast and pray for 40days and night but be committed to prayer and fasting as a believer. Draw closer to God through prayer and fasting, He will reveal new things to you.

The more you spend time with someone the more you know about them.


Action Point

Start a fasting and prayer plan. You could start with a day, 3, or 7.

If you are going through a challenge, Hold on, have faith in Jesus to save you from it

1. Pray for God's protection over yourself and your possession

2. Pray that you won't lose your inheritance in Christ

3. Pray that God should restore in overflow every good thing you have lost

4. Pray that God should save you from every challenges

5. Pray against the spirit of doubt
